Disclosure
Hi all, it’s Chrissy. This blog is personally written by me, with occasional guest posts from other bloggers or interns/students that work with me. I believe in full disclosure on my blog, and with that said here’s some important info for you to know:
I write about food and fitness topics. As part of this focus, I may sometimes receive opportunities to work with different brands in several ways. These include sponsored posts and social shares, underwritten posts, hosting twitter parties or facebook chats, sponsored video content, acting as a spokesperson or ambassador, or any other potential avenues for partnership.
These brand partnerships may be compensated – either monetarily or occasionally in product. Each post that is sponsored will have a disclosure on the post itself noting such sponsorship.
I also participate in affiliate programs. I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for me to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. I am also a participant in other affiliate programs through individual companies/businesses.
By participating in an affiliate program, it means if you purchase a product I’ve recommended using my link, I receive a commission on that product. I do not choose random items to promote for affiliate commissions; instead I may link items I already planned to recommend because I personally use and love them.
Any sponsored content or affiliate recommendations are always based on my true and honest opinion. If I don’t like something about a particular product, I will tell you. If I love a product, I will tell you. That said, these are my opinions, so I don’t make any guarantees as to the function, taste, or performance of such products for your own personal use.
Not every product, service, or company that I write about on the blog is necessarily sponsored. Some will simply come up as recommendations that match a particular theme or topic.
I use a third party advertising network to host ads on this site. You will often see the ads on your header, sidebar, and sometimes as an overlay on top of images. Third party ad networks may collect use aggregate information about your visits to this website and other websites to display personally relevant ads to you.
