These 6 healthy frappuccino recipes are nutritious and delicious – perfect for a summer treat!
I admittedly love a good Starbucks Frappuccino. There’s nothing like that caramel one with the sugary drizzle that they put on top of it. That said, it’s not always practical – from a budget or health standpoint – to have those regularly. {Though don’t get me mistaken, I do indulge in them occasionally.}
Instead, I love whipping up my own versions of blended coffee drinks. They can be a fun & tasty treat on a hot summer day, and with these better-for-you versions you don’t have to worry about derailing your diet. Here are a couple of my own recipes along with a bunch from fellow dietitians that had some delicious frozen coffee drinks and frappuccino recipes to share.

This Skinny Pumpkin Frappuccino recipe is a perfect blend of fall flavors, but you can certainly enjoy it any time of the year! {And let’s be real, it’s only about another month and a half before everything pumpkin starts rolling out in stores and shops.} Plus it’s only 114 calories per serving.
3. Chocolate Toasted Almond Mock-a-ccino from Jessi Haggerty
I love that Jessi uses dates to sweeten this baby. And that chocolate sauce topping? Um, YES please.
4. Mocha Banana Smoothie from Snacking in Sneakers

21 grams of protein in a coffee drink? That’s right! A little whey protein powder goes a long way in this frozen mocha.
